The Wedding

Like I told you guys last time we were headed off to a wedding; we had to drive 5 hours to get there. It was great to see another part of Oregon. The weather was beautiful and we saw a lot of people that were at the camp meeting and it was like camp meeting all over again.

We arrived on Friday so we helped prepare for Sabbath by making 8 lasagnas; it was a lot of work but fun as we worked together and we finished in no time.

We had church in a warehouse – which I thought was really neat! They had set up boxes to separate the church from the small kitchen area. We had Sabbath School and then Church service and then lunch. After that we had a group discussion; it was very good and such a blessing.

That night Brian (the groom) stayed at the house where we were all staying. In the evening when we were all together someone started a discussion and started giving him advice about marriage and how to keep his wife happy. It was funny how we all chirped in and how he responded; most of the advice was actually good tho. We all went to bed then.

The next day was the wedding. We all got ready and then met at the church. It was so exciting, the church was beautiful and big, perfect for a wedding. It went well – no problems – a very simple and beautiful wedding. The reception was great too and it was nice to see them cut the wedding cake.

I really enjoyed myself and it was so nice to see a live wedding as it was my first real wedding that I remember attending and I sure did have a great time!

The next day our school and another family went to the Oregon coast. It was beautiful and the waves were big, even tho we saw a lot of dead jelly fish on the beach and the water was disgusting, we still went in it and had some fun. It was really cold too but we didn’t care.

We spent a couple hours there relaxing and enjoying our time in the water and with each other. We got back home late but safe, praise the Lord!

It is always exciting to go on a new adventures. I like the ocean and it was delightful to see it from a different coast.

I want to go wherever my Saviour leads me, and want to do what He tells me. I am serving the Lord wherever He calls me to go. I laugh and smile very easily, and love to meet new people! The Lord has given me the talent of singing, and playing the flute. I love to play songs which glorify my Savior. A few of my other favorite things I like to do is; reading the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, cooking, knitting, and I love to witness and share about Jesus! My character is moldable for His hands! If I don't get to meet you here on this earth, meet me in the heavenly kingdom!
